Few call me Ali. My name is Alison. I have been Alison Lisle, Alison Castro and now, Alison Rankin. The domain of my most recent identity was already claimed by an incredibly talented realist from England. I am, by no means, a realist. I am an optimist, so Ali it is.

Art has always been an inevitable aspect of my life; it's less an occupation than a consequence of genetics. I've always drawn inspiration from the places and circumstances in front of me. I was born in Denver, Colorado and my perspective has been derived from life and travel across the Western United States & Central America.
